21 mph Gain

I know my car is out of steam past the 1/8 96mph 1/8 and 117mph 1/4 my car has 4.30 gears, 28x11.5 tire, and a 9" converter that flashes at 4500

That's roughly the same as my car used to do with the old motor.

Never thought it was anything but normal.

I see you can't sleep either

I was just playing with the calc and it looks like
a fairly linear line for a increase in speed between
the 2 points....

1/4 speed... 1/8 speed... difference

100......... 79........... 21
110......... 86........... 24
120......... 94........... 26
130......... 102.......... 28
140......... 110.......... 30
150......... 118.......... 32

That just means you are leaving too hard!

Continue adding air in your rear tires until your performance stats match the provided table.

My car doesn't have lots of mph (1/8 or 1/4), but it pulls good ET. 116 to 142 = 26 mph

From that link:
Your 1/8th mile MPH computed from your vehicle's 1/4 Mile MPH of 142 is 111.75 MPH in the 1/8th mile

Lots of variation in members numbers, see attached chart.

I've run 115.68 in the 1/8 but 140 in the 1/4. Wind resistance I know is a factor..there isn't a bigger barn door than a 64 car!
