What should the pinion angle be on a 68 B body 4spd Dana with SS springs be? How should it be measured? Is there a link to goto for this? Thanks

The May Hot Rod has a good illustration of it.

M P chassis manual calls for 5-7* pinion down. This angle is relative to the driveshaft, not the ground. The factory had a service tool made by Miller tool co. for measuring this angle. Using this tool you would have 5-7* positive angle at the pinion, front angle should be negative. FWIW this is the preferred angle for drag racing, not everyday use.
