Did he have a Duster by chance? If so does anybody have any pics?
We have a ex-Pro/Stock Duster that was bought out of Ohio that was possibaly black and white and was monikered "Hemi Thunder" or something like that and was supposedly driven by Phil Roar. Can any shed some light on this car? Any info would be appreciated.
The only Hemi Duster that I remember Phil driving was a car that was owned by the Byers family and it was a street car. I had a sighting of that car 1 year ago and it is still a street car.

I can call him and ask him tomorrow for you, if you'd like?
You should ask him to build you another one.
Phil Roar was the reason that the Warren and Augenstein 67 Hemi Belv. leaves the line like it does. Phil set that car up like his old R-O car back in 1995 when the car had a 440. We put a Tony Depello Hemi in it, and wala, Phil says it runs like his "Old Blackie". Naturally we call ours "Old Whitey". If everything goes right, the "Roar-N-Hemi" Dart will be out this year.

that car had some very interesting suspension "tricks" done in the rear.not so noticeable unless you were really looking,or had something side to side to campare it to.i actually copied that setup once when I worked at a local chassis shop.lots of fab work,as you just cant buy some of that stuff.there is some some ss cars in the area still using those same mods, goes to show you,if its not broke, dont fix it......that setup worked like magic.....I believe the chassis guru john holt was behind that design.....john can make an icicle wheelstand on the Alaskan tundra.....
