I have 2 sets of pin style caliper brackets. One set is supposed to have come from a 73 Dart and the other is supposed to be from a late 70's B body. The B-body brackets are supposed to be 11.75 caliper brackets but they are identical in size and shape to the 73 brackets.

Were the 11.75 pin style disc brakes available in 73 or were just the 10.87 slider style?

I also have the spindles from the 73 pin set and they look identical to the spindles I have from a 76 Dart. Was there any differences in the spindles from 73-76 on A-Bodies?

Do I have 2 sets of 11.75 caliper brackets or are they 10.87?

Any picts and info will defitintely help and be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Read this, make your measurements, and then you will know.

Thanks for the info!

I actually have 1 set of 11.75 brackets(the late B set) and 1 set of 10.87 brackets(the 73 Dart set)

One think I did notice is that the calipers from the 73 set bolted right up to the late B set. Are the calipers any different from the 73 style to the later style?

I want to run 11.75 rotors on the 72 Dart with the 11 inch discs out back. I am also going to run 11.75 discs on the 72 RR with 11X2.5 drums out back. I guess I need to hit the junkyards and grab another set of 11.75 caliper brackets.
