Getting ready to start more of the chassis work on the Demon here in the next week or two now that I have a garage of my own. My problem is that I don't remember what the rocker seam to rocker seam dimensions are for a demon or a duster or dart. If anyone can let me know that would be great. Once I have that then I can rough mount the body and start on the main hoop and forward bars. Thanks again to all my friends here.

And if any of you chassis guys out there could possibly give me some advise on how to bolt the body to the chassis I would greatly appreciate it. Ron you out there?

Weld that thing on there.
Bite it pinky! I actually have reasons for why I want to be able to remove the body. I should have just bought your chassis from the first go around. It would have worked in my car.

Make 2x3 nut plates by drilling holes a little bigger than 3/8's...one on each side of where an 1 5/8 tube could land....weld 3/8 nuts to the back side....then drill holes big enough for the nuts to go inside of on your rocker panels...weld plates to rocker panels....wled matching plates to ends of tubes that tie into rocker panels....easy....quick...and cheap.

Anyone know the rocker to rocker measurements? This is one of the only things holding me up. That and having to put in a fence.

Not exactly sure what measurement you're looking for, but here is the measurement from the top pinch weld to the top pinch weld between the left & right rockers from a '72 Demon, it's 58" wide where the front seat bolts in.
I love the smell of Deer guts in the morning, it smells like... VICTORY!
