I'm looking to quiet down my Duster, currently it has Dynomax ultra flow welded's on it in 3 inch with 3 inch turndowns at the axle. Inexpensive would be good but I'll take any suggestions....I need quiet

Sounds just like mine except I have 2.5in and a full exhaust. I'd bet if you ran a full exhaust and not turndowns you like it. Mine is not loud at all.

You know i've thought about that but I have a BGHR220 fuel pump, it is so loud i'd be afraid it would drive me nuts!

What is it? The empty trunk type drone? Try some dynomat. Sounds like alot of vibration going on.

We run the Ultraflows and love them, less drone than a flowmaster and does not sound like a tin can.

if all you're worried about is noise inside the car, try tailpipes.

for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

Tail Pipes will help a BUNCH!

I like these Walker Dynomax Super Turbos. They are 3" in and out and the biggest case they make. Tried these on the Demon and took off the 3-1/2" Flowmaster Delta Flow mufflers and the car was just as fast or faster.

These are on the Valiant. Why screw with a good thing?

I took the tailpipes OFF of my car this past summer. The TTI 3 inch exhaust and 3 chamber Flowmasters just wasn't obnoxious enough for me. Sounds better now. But I keep saying I want to try a set of those little single chamber Flowmasters with turndowns. Any of you "quiet" guys have set to unload??? CHEAP?

Does your car have an H or X pipe it's amazing how much they will quiet it down.

Sorry, no sound bites.
I did have 3" 2 chamber flowmasters,,with turndowns under the car and it was LOUD..
The Ultraflows with the tailpipes are MUCH less,,,sound wise...almost too quiet for me,,,
I think the tailpipes will help alot..puts all the noise out the BACK of the car,,instead of reverberating off the bottom of the car,,,

I did find a few links on youtube that might help...
