get a rebuild kit and do it yourself

just buy a reman MC is fastest and safest,IMHO

it sorta like a clutch slave cyl to rebuild

2 bolt or 4 bolt ?

you can hone the bore with a wheel cyl tool if you get the over size kit and mic it

not much need for that kinda stuff any more with all the reman stuff around

if its a 4 bolt MC I allways adapt it to a alum 2 bolt MC myself..

I want to keep the original stock look. I have the original one off my car and the rebuilt mc look nothing like the origianl. I spent 2 hours today at my local part stores trying to find a 1' bore mc like mine and they are different. I have a 70 barracuda and considered an A-body mc but they are very different too.

If its a disk brake car the dart kit is not the same and NOS kits are few and far and really expensive.

What Scratch said, I'd score a kit & hone it LIGHTLY w a wheel cyl hone or a dingleberry hone of the proper dia/grit & some solvent then check it for pits and possibly for over the limit oversize & clean it w solvent & put it together w brake fluid.
