The GT was a higher priced (p code, premium) model in 68. They usually had buckets, side trim, and other high end options. So no, they didn't produce a gazillion of the GT's. 1968 Dart GT 273 v-8 production (LM23D) auto 5847 4spd 196 They were all hardtops. My book shows 24,013 hardtops, and 2,267 convertibles. You could get 225 slant 6, 273,or a 318.

A fellow clubmember has a 69 Dart GT 318 or 273 4spd convertible. It's also has console WITH air conditioning. Original paint, interior, dog dishes. An odd duck.
I think under 60K miles or something like that.
