Putting a set of SSM Lift bars on the back of the Satellite. The bars don't have the shock mount studs, they have a hole for the stud to mount in. Am I going to have to have them pressed out & back in to the new hardware? or will they pop out with a little persuading and go back in the same way?

I am trying to picture exactly what the issue is but I gotta ask.....Can you just use a bolt? Through the shock and through the hole in the plate???

I suppose, in theory you could. But I don't really want to rig something up under there. I'd rather do it the way its supposed to be done.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Most any parts store will have shock mounts in their HELP parts section. I got the ones for my Cal-Tracs at Vatozone.
