I have a 71 Demon with all aftermarket gauges and I need your help solving a problem with the fuel gauge. The OHMS or resistance on my factory sending unit and the aftermarket gauge are different thus the fuel gauge is not working properly.I've searched and searched with no luck.Anyone have a solution for this?

Thank you for help

Get an aftermarket sending unit or the correct gauge for your factory sender, which reads 10/73 ohms. Aftermarket makes gauges for our stock senders, just need to check it out before you buy.

Different car manufacturers used different ohm ranges. What range does your read?

The gauge is set up to run with a GM sending unit. If you have a fuel cell no problem getting the correct sending unit. If you still have the the factory gas tnak i would send the gauge back to be for one that works with Mopar ohm range.

Mopar is 10 to 70 as I recall The correct procedure and ohms range is in the service manual for your car.
