I have put a pair of disc brakes off of a 1974 barracuda on my 1970 b body, the front brakes seemed to drag so i went to change the valve off the other car but none of the lines are routed the same. What do you all do can i just adapt the lines to the valve can i install just a residual valve or am i better buying an aftermarket adjustable valve?

Were they dragging enough to notice while driving or did they drag when you spun the wheel by hand. If it was the last that's normal.

Did you install a different master cylinder or booster?

I got the same problem, at the end it was a damaged brake fluid dist block. Probably the metering section.

It was one of those new replacement units being sold around. Just worked 3 years. Had to run to get an used OEM unit from a Junkyard ( from an aspen, only one around ) and hoping will last long MORE YEARS
