Like the above says. Need high quality custom exhaust done on a '68 Dart. I don't need sloppy hap-hazard work that will just Piss me off.

The best guy I know of is a friend of mine... But he doesnt do it any more. So I use a guy in Manchester when I need something but I wouldnt call him first rate. OK, but not top notch. There really aren't any good custom shops any more locally.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

I have not been to these places in a few years so I can't state on job quality nowadays but IIRC Arcouttes off Brainard/Shaker(?) Road, Mad Hatter on Palumba Drive are in Enfield. C.H.E.I.F. Automotive near Bradley Airport has done a number of local Mopars. Stop by and "interview" prospects.

Two friends highly recommend the following place for a quality system at a reasonable price if you don't mind heady a little further north:

Road Runner Muffler Shop
(413) 736-7676
1140 Bay St, Springfield, MA 01109

You have to schedule an appointment and ideally be willing to leave your car for a few days.

LaBrecques Autocraft in East Windsor is also doing pipe bending and custom exhaust work. He does a lot of Mopar restorations.
