Have fun. It is a busy drag race event and don't think about the thousand of spectators in the stands and all of the camera crews around the pit area. If you are picked that is icing on the cake. Just go and enjoy all of the event. We'll see you at Virginia.

well we are back from the Pinks adventure but we had fun and both of us had new bests and Woody even seen heaven (the clouds ) and his eyes were big as golf ball when he got back. No we didn't make the field they did pick cars out of our class but we were to fast missed the field by .3

the car ran it's new best 1.44 60'that ties the best 60' and it ran a 6.57@104mph 1/8th and 10.40@128 1/4. not bad it's what I thought it should run when sorted out. and we are almost there.

had a couple of good interviews so they may make the show and yes I forgot about pinion angle until it was to late

didn't have much time because they parked us in BFE about a freaking mile from the starting line. took s a gallon of gas just to get to the front I think. could barely hear the radio and they wouldn't let ius take cameras to the starting line.

all in all we had fun hanging out with Woody and Ellen

Didn't get to see it, was handing out fliers for an
up coming import event, so I miss the end of the
show

We got back last night, overall a pretty cool experience, would I do it again? Not at PBIR, the layout of the track is HORRIBLE! literally had to drive the road course to get to the staging lanes, among a hundred other things, I can't believe they put all that money into that place and couldn't come up with anything better.Oh and Rich really isn't the dork he appears to be on tv, really nice, normal dude! They also lost NAPA as a sponsor, this may be the last season for the show to hear him talk.hope it's not the case.

and we where parked as far away from the staging lanes as you could get and they could have parked us a lot closer there was a lot of open space much closer they did not use.

100% if not for the poor layout of the place it would have been much better. I doubt I would go back to PBIR for an event like that. they do showcase real sportsamn level racers and thats a plus. I to hope they stick around. so many cool cars

guess you guys did not have to worry about that too much!

they used the road course for the "sportsman" pit space at Nitro Jam and it was the place to be...

parking on the road course would be fine but no reason to put you all the way in the back had plenty of room much closer to the front of the track and I wasn't ever worried about the payout any money won is good money and I was there to have a good time and to get a chance to win the race more than the money.

if you go to pinks looking for cash your probably in the wrong place but the chance is there and thats what makes it fun. is it luck, absolutely. but those who were lucky have a big smile.

When racing is no fun I will quit, period. Why do you guys think that racing for money can't be fun. To me it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Guess they need to come race with us sometime huh Alex!!
We've been known to have a good time but we don't sit around all night tell'in mopar stories!!lol
