I apologize in advance for this lame question, but my Cuda has been missing the hood spring that pops up the hood when I unlatch it for a while. It's getting old lifting the hood from the hood scoops!

Question is, I have the spring, how is it held into place? Is there some sort of clip or something that holds it in place?

Again, sorry for the lame question, but it's another one of those things I've been putting off for a while and want to get it done.

The bottom end of the spring that's bent outward, fits into a tab that should be sticking up with a hole in it. The opposite side of the bottom of the spring goes under a tab, that gets bent down over it. If you don't see these tabs, they are more than likely broken off, and will have to be fabricated.
