my crank rubs on my origional tray. i tried denting it out everywhere it was rubbing but it didnt work very well. can anyone tell me where to find one for my application?

Nobody makes one that fits the stroker crank setup. You either have to cut and massage one to fit or leave it out altogether.

i was told i would lose something like 42 hp if i dont put it in. any truth to this?...

I'd think you would lose some HP but not near that much.

If you use a stock oil pan without a windage tray then yes, you could lose up to 42hp. If you use a deep sump pan without a windage, then you lose no hp.
