Both have a stellar reputation, kind of a rarity these days.
I started buying from Brewers because I found out about him first. Never a complaint.
As for Passon I have never heard of a problem or complaint and would buy from him in a heartbeat without thinking twice.
You can't go wrong with either company in my opinion.

Ditto. I personally went to Jamie's shop once I broke down the components. He analyzed every component and suggested what needed to be replaced. I bought most of them from Jamie but also bought from Brewers.

Isn't it great to be comparing how good these guys are. My hat is off to both of them.
It feels good too....... This post is completely opposite of most of the vendor recommendation threads on Moparts!

True, indeed, two quality outfits.
Unlike some other vendors that have their cheerleaders and their detractors, I have never heard a bad thing about either. If you flipped a coin whomever you came up with would be a good choice in this case.
While you might be able to search around for some of the stuff for less, you really won't save much and you will not have the excellent customer service and experience either of these outfits provide.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

I bought a set of 71 B-body shift rods from Brewers many years ago, and they were great to deal with. HOWEVER... Jamie has gone above and beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion for me. Long story (kinda) short... lol MANY years ago, I had a clutch issue that necessitated me pulling the trans out of my R/T. Since it was out, I contacted Jamie to see if I could have him look over it. I was a little rushed for time, as the clutch issue came at the worst possible time for me. Anyhoo, Jamie told me to stop by the shop on Sunday morning (I'm about 2 hours away). I get there, and he proceeds to pop the side cover off and give me an overall opinion of my trans' condition. Also while there, he proceeds to point out the common leak areas (while he's sealing them up for me) and he and his dad were absolutely GREAT to me. At the time, Jamie had just gotten the prototype aluminum 833 case done and left me check it out too. (yea this was THAT long ago...lol) Trans gets a clean bill of health, Jamie installs a new cover gasket and gives me new nuts for the shifter levers, since mine were pretty crappy. Trans is packed back up and I'm getting ready to leave. I ask Jamie what I owe him. His reply...."NOTHING. If I expected to any payment from you, I would have told you about it on the phone, before you drove all the way up here.. Word of mouth is my best advertisement" This was on a SUNDAY. WHO does this on a SUNDAY? Jamie also supplied a new gasket and sealed up any potential leak areas And didn't ask for a penny. That one instance sold me on Passon Performance, and I've been dealing with Jamie ever since. He's has been great with technical advice and parts (I broke a shift fork last year) and continues to impress me with his professionalism. I've got nothing bad to say about Brewers...but Jamie will get my business for anything 833 related.

passon fixed up my E body trans. i took it up on a saturday morning and he tore it down right there. i went out to have lunch and when i got back he had it finished up! he did it the same day so i only had to make one trip. and its worked great since. i have also baught a rebuild kit from him for another trans and he gave me some good tech advice on doing it myself. never dealt with brewers though.

Can't comment on Brewers but Meet Jamie at Nat's Last year and did some work on one of my buddies Cuda Trany outstanding to deal with,When I put my hemi in my Duster Jamie got me all my hydrolic clutch parts along with my shifter,Had a issue with the hydrolic throw out bearing ,It was not Jamie fault at all but he took care of it no questions asked,He is also having a custom speed o cable made for me--I WEAR THE T_SHIRT HE GAVE ME AT NAT"S VERY PROUDLY and will forward any work I can to him!!! He does not make you feel like an A** when you ask him stupid questions--STEVE
