3512100 is a '71 340 intake, what's the date on it?

1.88 intake valve heads but don't worry about it. The 2.02's won't come into play much before twisting into close to the 6000 range and the smaller valve will give more volosity which some engines like better than volume. I know some circle guys that went from 2.02 heads to 1.88 to get more torque coming out of the corners and didn't hurt there down track at all. I have also made the switch from 1.88 to 2.02 making sure that the rest of the heads were the same as for CC and no porting or gasket matching. made no difference in my case.

this motor will be going into a 87 w100 daily driver. so i am looking for good torque and reliability. gas mileage would hurt either. any cam recommendations with these heads and a .30 over block? i plan on running the ac and the power brakes.
