does someone re pop the kelsey hayes rotors with a 4" bolt pattern? The 68 stock set up? I read that 65-67 mustangs used the same rotor? Is it interchangeable with the dart?

Same calipers, but different rotors and hubs.

You may be able to buy something from a local parts store depending on how good they are and who their distributors are. Bendix used to make replacemnt rotors (but the casting on the hat slightly hit the calipers), and more recenctly Raysbestos and Borg Warner. Often the biggest problem for the parts guys is finding them by 'application' in the books or 'puter.

i may be wrong but sometime ago Goodmark industries casted a one piece rotor that would work with the 1966-69 bendix 4 piston brakes. I believe Frank Mitchell was selling them . i found a set of NOS mopar for my charger 12 years ago. there probably are original bendix rotors out there.

The SBP 4" Kelsey Hayes rotors are available from a number of different sources and they are NOT expensive.

Centric makes A body 4" SBP rotors, and a number of suppliers can get these, including brakewarehouse.com.

In the tech archive, the parts numbers for each of the respective rotor suppliers is available and you can cross-ref. those numbers on the 'Net.

You likely will have a lot of trouble finding these rotors at a local auto parts supplier, unless you bump into one of the more knowledgeable counter people.

Also, try the BRAKES section on www.forabodiesonly.com for more a body 4" SBP brake suppliers. Use the search function to find discussion threads on SBP rotors...

Finally a person by the handle of LongGone on forabodiesonly successfully machined the center hub section of the '65-67 Mustang rotors, and is using these on his Abody.
