I know what the parts book and Galens book show. I
am looking for input from people with original cars for this one.

Did the factory installed driveshaft have the samller yoke in the front and the larger yoke in the rear?

I just stripped a 70 340 cuda auto 3:91 and the shaft was original to the car and it had a small in the front and large in the back.

Are you saying the driveshaft itself had two different size U joints? That's totally bizzare...I've never seen that before

Both large, and the original had both small of course...The owner's not too concerned on correctness so I just used an adaptor U joint on the rear pumpkin...
