Sorry if this has been brought up before, but has anyone ever used their products before? Their prices are extremely cheap which has me concerned ...im looking at a pair of fenders for my 69 dart and simply cant afford AAR ($398 a fender, yikes) the car is not a show piece by any means in fact it will be black primer so im not worried about them being perfect. Another thing I noticed is that the headlight buckets come as a seperate piece from the fender..would you just apoxy or fiberglass them to the fender, will that hold? Also gonna get a rear bumper

JUNK. I got a hood for my 68 Barracuda and it was horrible. It was almost completly flat which didn't match the shape of the car. It was a bolt to hinges hood and the frame was so crooked underneath there is no way it would have worked. I took that one on the chin, tried to sell it for years at local swap meets. My dad and I were talking the other day and we can't remember if it did sell or if we trashed it.

I have heard soooooo many horror stories about them as i too was going to buy something from them (a scoop) and ended up steering away and getting one made locally (Although it wasnt the greatest either)...see if there are any local glass shops around you that may take a mold or something and make one for ya

I purchase a lower valance,it fit OK.I end up cracking it.replace it with a one from the same manufacturer and it was like so i think i would just pass on them Try VFN.they produce quality parts.

I had some fenders from them for a 71 Charger. spent more to make them fit than the cost. Then the resin shrank in the sun light (after two years of storage in the box) showing all the fiberglass fibers through the new paint.

Glenn, The hood on my duster is a unlimited products bolt on, and yes it took alot of work to make it work/bolt up and It still don't look to good but its mainly a race car. I wouldn't use them again, the shipping cost was more then the the hood cost.

I am of the opinion that they are all hit or miss. The GlassTek doors I have are a pos.

I have their bolt-on hood on my 70 Duster and other than the mounting bolts being a little off (required slotting the hinges more, it fit and looks great, perfect.

Hey Glenn,
I had a nice Unlimited glass hood for my Scamp.
And then I tried to bolt it on to fit the hood pins a day before paint.
Then it somehow took flight out of the garage and on the driveway.
And Dad just walked away .
Little Brother just .
Then I cooled down enough to laugh about the hood overlapping the fender by only 2". The bracing was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy off.
It then became a pin-on/ bolt-on hood.

That should tell you how I really feel. But that's just me.
On a second note.
I just got another Glasstek cowlhood for my car and all 3 that I have now are Glasstek, and very nice hoods.
They are worth the extra money.

Call me sometime, I may know where you can get some used glass fenders if they are still there.

Later

This is an Unlimited hood. It did need some work to get it mounted properly etc. But if I was on a budget I would buy another. If you don't have money most times you can spend a little more time making things work.

I had to use a wood spacer on one hinge to get it centered.

You can see it if you look closely.

Steve's certainly got some cred but do yourself a BIG favor and avoid Unlimited like the plague. Their stuff really does suck.

I bought a hood from them about 10 years ago.
It was described in their catalog as a "69 road runner 6 pack replica hood.I was happy with the quality of the fiberglass job and it fits nicely.
HOWEVER,the hood does not have the impressions near the center (like a stock satellite hood),
AND, the scoop is much taller than a stock six pack hood.
I called them and they said "sorry,it's a race weight hood and no refunds or returns"
I feel this hood was totally misrepressented, and I will never do business with them again!
Look at the picture to see what I mean.-John
