I recently purchased a new eddy air gap intake and was about to install it however i was looking at my heads and the heat crosss over has a semi-circle over it that looks like a water jacket. The heads have had some work done to them and I don't really want to get new ones. the new intake has no heat crossover so I was wondering if i really need to worry about this, or since there is no place for water to flow in the intake if it will really be a problem at all.Let me know if you know what i'm talking about. Thank you, Clayton

Hello Clayton. the half circle is an air gap to keep the ex gasses passing thru the crossover from adding more heat to the already very hot paired ex valves. Not to worry w either a blocked or an unblocked gasket you're fine (& I would block them & lock the hear riser "open")). Go big red. RR
