I hope someone can help me with the info I need I just purchased a 1970 body in white duster drag car, This car appears to have alot of history in all three sactioning bodys of the early '70s I would like to find printed info to document this car ie:race results, pics, ect. or talk to anyone that might remember it. I am trying to determine if the cars history warrants a correct restoration.The body was sold to Colletti Chry Ply 6-25-70 and was raced by Rich Shippley from MAryland, Story is he raced it for a few years and traded it for a 70 Challanger, 2nd owner was Ben Disibbo from WV. I was told that the Colletti family owned 3 or 4 speed shops and that Chysler backed the car. This car was run in Super Stock I Automatic Thanks Dan

Got any photos of the car?

The engine for the car at this link was built by one of the Colletti shops;

Didn't John Diana own the Riddler Duster for a while?

It's a different car, John ran MP, Riddler was SS.

If you have pics of the car in its previous livery, or know the NHRA #, that will help. The # will tell you the driver's name. Old NHRA event entry forms will help you place the car and its history, too.
If you join the SSStock Group on Yahoo, the guys there can provide a lot of info. Turn the photo-receiving option on, and check all the photos posted; sometimes the car is in the background.
Note the construction details on your car and any previous colors if you can, and contact the previous owners/drivers.
All of the above have helped me research & document my car.
I have a special fascination with SS/IA Dusters.
