my father has a 1963 plymouth sport fury golden commando car. its a factory 383 4spd car.he was in the middle of working on it and had the shift lever in the floor board and at night someone broke into it and stole the lever.i heard the lever is different from 63 to 64. does anyone know anybody who might have one or know where i could find one. any help would make my dads year.

It's a 1963 factory 4 speed car? You might want to verify that. 63's didn't have a 4 speed manual trans option, manuals were 3 speed only.

Try Clay @ 636-257-4669 he has a ton of the 62-65 stuff, T-10 Scott, first and only year.

I believe only the Max Wedge did not get a 4-speed. The 383 could be had with a factory 4-speed. They felt it was not strong enough to put behind the Max Wedge. Ron
