Eagle got bought by holley now they're flowtech. These are old headers though, not still made by flowtech.

I got a new old stock set off ebay today. In the pic the routing looks just like a set of hooker comps. They're the small tube headers that hang low and capture the steering. I have an old header back system I want to re-use so they should hook up easy. (famous last words?)

They're made from 14g steel! I'm putting them in my cruiser as part of a /6 to 318 swap to try to get a little sound and power. I'm thinking the weight won't be a big deal and they might last a good while.

Had a set on one of my gto's. Seems like I had to cut between a couple of the flanges to get tubes/bolts to line up but, they didn't leak or rattle against anything.

They showed up this week. I bought them off ebay as new old stock, but they were spraypainted GOLD! You can't tell in the pic above (from ebay auction) and I took another phone pic and they look kind of silver too. Go figure.

I don't mind a few pieces of chrome- (chrome don't getcha home) but gold headers are too much for me!

I have a buddy that does nickel plating and he did them up with .5 mil nickel coating inside and out.

Nickel coated 14g steel should last a while huh?

Wish me luck putting them in! I'm going to mock them up on my heads and have them in the engine bay before the motor goes in (/6 swap)

Thanks for the responses fellow eagle header owners.

Pay attention to cylinders 5 and 7 routing the plug wires, allways been a problem trying not to burn the wires on the upswung tube crossing over them,....putting plugs in those cylinders was allways fun too with the Eagle headers,....I still have mine on my Challenger 30+ years now,...never rusted, never blew out, rugged tubes
