When I bought my car a few years ago it was a fresh rebuild . The previous owner lost the info about the cam all he knew is that it was a comp cam . I am going to be installing new alum heads and was wondering how I can id it so I can get specs

Take the Timing cover and chain off and read the numbers on the end of the cam.

or throw a dial indicator on the rocker and a degree wheel on the balancer. Either way a pain in the butt...
