Bought repo bumpers for my 68 GTX. The rear is a goodmark and fit pretty good. The front is an AMD and it sticks out on the LH side and rubs the fender on the right. The seller (A nice guy) sent me another one and it's the same. It's centered on the car but still a big gap on the left and rubbing on the right. I would say it's the car if I hadn't tried the old bent rusty original and it fit perfect. Anybody else had problems?

I have a set on my road runner and they look like they sit low on the car. Also mine have like wrinkles in them under the chrome in the radiused areas of the bumpers.

Same problem on Maxie's car. Big gap on left, against fender on right. Got it as close as we could but still not 100%. The rear is adjusted as high as it will go without modifying brackets but still looks a little low.

Are you sure the brackets aren't bent? It's no big deal to tweak them to center the bumper.

I tried 2 sets of brackets and it's the same with both. It's actually centered on the car if you judge by the park lights and tag mounting area. And an OE bumper fits good. The seller is in the bumper business. I'm gonna call and see if I can trade up to a nice rechromed original.
