First off this is not for a restoration, but I am wanting to get my bumpers re-chomed or buy a set of cores rechromed for my 69 barracuda. I figured I would post this question here, as most people here would be more particular than if it for a driver.

I have priced them from AMS and tri-city, both cost 325$. Tri-city says lifetime guarantee and AMS is 5 year....

I know there is a gentlemen that does them for alot more. I would rather stay under 400$ bumper.

So who would you use or any input on these two would be great. I know to stay away from bumper boyz.

I have used Tri City many times w/No problems and good guys to deal with. A lot of places just flash chrome. or Nickel chrome only. That is your cheaper bumpers. Copper chroming them first then nickel is what we call good show chrome. It is a lot more but worth it. Unless you are dumping the car go cheaper but you get what you pay for.

which process does ams use?

Tri-City on 3 sets, no problems. Friendly, honest, and good quality for the price.
