I tried to install a Chrysler thermostatic clutch fan on the water pump in my 63 Dodge, but there was not enough clearance with the radiator. The motor is a 440 and is mounted in the standard position for an early B body. Also, the radiator is original. I know the 64 max wedge cars had a clutch fan, were these a specific part number? Or is there a specific fan clutch designed to work with a RB in an early B body?

There is supposed to be a Jaguar clutch that works. The early cars are close.I just run a stainless flex fan on my 65.Been on for 15 years and no problems.I have a untouched 65 C body rad with shroud and it runs 180 all day even when raced in the 90s.Rocky
