you can make as much as that stock rotating assembly can handle. the cast pistons i think will be the first to let go. i would be willing to bet 600hp would live if your tuning skills are up to par
Are stock rods and main caps really going to take 600hp? I'm thinking even at 600hp you'd be wanting aftermarket h-beam rods and would be pushing the limits of stock main caps.

I am looking for more like 700-800 hp will a factory steel crank work if so which pistons do I need to get? And what size turbos should I get? In other words I need a little help with a parts list. Or do I need to build the shortblock the same as you would for a 700 plus N/A build?
I think you can use the crank but for 7-800hp you might want to upgrade the mains, def'ly get good rods, girdle...as for pistons you'll need to talk to a good boost guy. I'd guess if you called Wiseco they could set you up...but they 'aint cheap. Remember you can make 800hp but can you get it to the ground? and can you do it w/o breaking stuff. Call SDCE and see what they have to say as far as turbos and whatnot

i thought that a turbo was eaier on parts because it eased into power not a sudden hit like a roots or nitrous or even a n/a. arent 302s in mustangs makeing in the 7-800 area? i know two or three locally that make 550- 650 to the rear tires with a stock shortblock. that would be close to 700 or so at the crank right?
what mustangs? it takes a lot for one of those 302's to make 700+HP. the crank will be ok. You will need good rods, and pistons.
