Im getting ready to shoot the demon again, and my painter was curious if any of you guys have a formula for the flat clear. He wants to know what ratio is the best result for semi gloss clear. How much glossy clear to how much flat clear matches semi gloss stripes?

every paint brand is different,some offer flattening agent while others have special hardener ,gloss or lack there of can vary from many things,air pressure,heavy or medium coats,slow,medium or fast hardener,amount of flattening agent or hardener, two of my brothers were shooting 04 Lexus LS430 satin black one was shooting one side and other was spraying the other side and you can see difference from one side and the other,though the clear was mixed in one bucket

i mix it 6-1-1 for semi gloss. you can add more reducer for a flatter finish.
one thing to remember is there are flex agents in this clear so it will dry SLOW. even after a 40 min bake it is still a little sticky. if you spray this air dry i would strongly suggest using a accelerator to speed up dry times.
