Hey guys - I am restoring the buddy seat in my 1969 Super Bee. One part missing was the plastic "U"-shaped strap that wraps around the arm rest from hinge to hinge.
I found one from a 68 Charger, but it is too wide.
Is the 1969 seat different from a '68? Would a '70 buddy seat be the same as a '69?

I can't tell you about 68, only a guess. If it was a buddy seat from a 68, 69 or 70, same line of car, like all road runners, they are the same. I do know for sure that 69 and 70 are the same.

I would think 68-70 are all the same, but the one I have (from a 68 charger) is too wide.
Anyone else able to add some insight to this part?

It won't work because it is from a charger, has to be a road runner, or bee or same interior style
