fastmark master F Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,391 Abilene, Texas	I have used plain old Vaseline on mine. It seams to help preserve it. It does soak in somewhat. I do not think it softens it, but it keeps it from drying out. I have been told years ago that Amour-all is not that good for the cloth backing of the dash. I have notice that it does not seam to hurt it any.
