Exactly. Cool car nonetheless. I sold a identical 69 GTX ragtop, y2 with m6T and got $28K for it last fall. A realistic price is $30K for the R/T in this market.
But GTX's convertibles are so....common....compared to R/Ts. That's why they go for less.
Maybe the auto ragtops, but any GTX or R/T 4 speed car brings good money... 4 speeds are very hard to find especially #'s original cars.

What did the Hoffman car sell for? and that was at the height of the market
Here was his ad from the Coronet Registry page, no idea what the actual sale was.

I thought is was 80-85K, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Note: That was a non matching auto!!!
Asking price.
And what $$ and effort would it take to detail or restore the other R/T verts for sale to that level.

Thanks for all the info. The guy I bought the car from told me that it was 1 of 2 Y2 ram air cars left. Looks like their are 3 left. I saw the Hoffman car go thru the auction at Meccum and he turn down $110,000.00 Check it out at Meccum auctions. It was at Kissimee in Florida last year.

Darren, I would bet that your particular car is definitely 1 of 1...
Craig!!! Had a 1-day trip to Herndon a few weeks ago and was wondering about you, hope you are doing well. I'm still kicking myself for not buying this RR vert from you, did you ever hear where it ended up?

Ron Your B5 car is my favorite R/T of all time. I love the color combo (what I woould have ordered) and the wheels really look fantastic. The recall wheels fit the R/Ts perfect! I peeked under my cover today and for some reason thought of you! KID
Thanks Steve, must be because of my cologne!!!
