mayhem148 OP member M Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 79 grant louisiana	can someone give me a idea of how much it cost to have a block line bored. i want to by some 440 source main caps and im tryin to put together a quote for a 500 inch build. i may not need to have them line bored maybe just honed but i want to overestimate the work so i will be ready for the most.

Rodney mopar R Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 603 Central Oregon	I would suggest calling your local machine shop for the going rate in your area. sonic test and check for cracks also. we ran a cracked block in the gtx cuz this wasn't done we were lucky to get a season out of it but what a waste of time and $$ not having it checked thoroughly before committing to that block.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
