Has anyone converted an early slant six (1960-62)with the direct drive Prestolite starter to the modern style starter?

If you have I would sure appreciate any tips/advice you have to share - THANKS!!!

wound up keeping the '61 torque convertor but swapping out the flex plate and installing the later starter - works SOOOOOO much better!
