I haven't looked just really hard yet but so far I haven't been able to find any frame connectors for 62-65 B bodies. I have a 64 Savoy and I would like to add frame connectors to it. Anyone know of a source for these?

They don't show any on their website unless I'm missing something. They them for 66-70 b bodies but not 62-65. Everyone seems to have them for 66-70. Did you actually talk to them to see if they had some to fit 64?

I used 2" box on my 64 and cut the one end to match the rear frame rail angle. I had less than $20 in the project.

Maybe Mancini? I don't remember where I was going to get them from, but I know that it wasn't an issue to find them for the 64 Fury...

Sorry, I wish I could be of more help. It's not great getting old!

Mancini doesn't have them either. Unless they are unlisted on their website or in their catalog. I thought this would be simple to find also but its not.......at least not for me. I know I could fabricate some but I don't have the equipment to do that. I was hoping for some bolt in connectors so that I could do it myself and not have to haul it somewhere to get them done.

I did the same as 64dodge572 It cost me closer to $40 for the sq. tubing but they fit perfectly and work well.

I also used 2X2X1/8 for my frame connectors on my '65 B body. Just make sure that everything is clean and that the car is supported on its suspension before welding.

Just get some 2x2 or 2x3 and make your own

The mancini kit is the same for all b bodys 62-70. I do not like the looks of them I am not a big fan of square tubing. We make our own out of round tubing and weld in.

2x3" tubing will have to go through the floor at the rear pan; 2x2 will fit beneath it. It is a straight shot from the torsion bar mount to the rear frame rails. We cut the diagional section off the rear frame rail and slipped the tubing inside it. You can drill a 1" hole in the frame rail and weld a rosette weld to the connector and along the diagional section of the frame rail. It will be plenty strong.
