Can someone tell me how to get the emergency brake cable out of the pedal lever assembly on a 70 Road Runner? I see where I can rotate the pedal to a certain point and then the pin that goes through the U shaped clip lines up with holes on either side of the pin but I'm not sure what's next. I see some sort of a push clip or nut on the pin - do I just pry it off to slide the pin out? I just want to make sure I don't damage anything.
