I have a Mallory Unilite distributor I am putting in a 440 motor. Do I need to use a Hyfire 6A control box with this distributor or can I use a stock orange control module. I would rather keep it looking stock but don't want to give up to much performance. Thanks

The dist just triggers the ECU and I've used an HEI module (stock and aftermarket) & works fine triggered by our dizzys so I would hazard a guess that you'll be OK and if you have not yet purchased an ECU I would highly suggest something other than an orange box. There are much more reliable options out there to choose from.
