mopar 394 OP member M Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 183 Fort Wayne,Indiana 46845	I have a Mallory Unilite distributor I am putting in a 440 motor. Do I need to use a Hyfire 6A control box with this distributor or can I use a stock orange control module. I would rather keep it looking stock but don't want to give up to much performance. Thanks

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,041 Lincoln Nebraska	The dist just triggers the ECU and I've used an HEI module (stock and aftermarket) & works fine triggered by our dizzys so I would hazard a guess that you'll be OK and if you have not yet purchased an ECU I would highly suggest something other than an orange box. There are much more reliable options out there to choose from. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
