cudadoug OP master C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 3,245 Between a rock & a hard place	Need solid flat tappet...no budget for a roller. 3000# a-body race weight 4.56 gears 8" Continental converter - (don't know what it's gonna flash or slippage with the new stroker, but can have it rubbed on as needed) 4.00" stroke 4.07" bore (416) Head flow "should be" around 270 from .550 to .650 lift Victor Jr Beehive spring good to .600 net lift, 137# at 1.7 installed height, 305# at 1.01 Any ideas??

Somewhere around 12.5:1, depending on where the head cc ends up and what head gasket we pick. Have to keep an eye on the piston to head clearance as the slugs will be right at .030 out of the deck

rt66jim master R Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,002 Joplin, Mo	Your combo is very close to mine. My CR is 11.2:1. Cam is a RB 570 lift with a 1.5 rocker(using 1.6's) duration is 270@.050 on a 108 CL. It is installed straight up. My car weighs 3134 w/driver. Still getting the Cal Tracs sorted out. Best so far of 10.5 @ 126.25 1.47 60'.
