Are you dead set against rebalancing? A set of the right KB's would get you quench and the right CR and quench would let you run a higher CR on the exact same octane but you would have to mill/equalize the open chamber recesses and the quench pads on the KB's but when done the long block would be CORRECT

When the plant in Malden, MO that made the 2355's was shut down that work was moved to India, not China. Not that it makes a lot of difference....
I agree, as I now travel Way further and work sporadically for WAY less money. Please explain the difference (Junk parts aside).

You could probably buy Andy's pistons and mill 'em flat. The crowns werepretty thick on those heavy b@stards. Don't foget to cut valve reliefs. iirc min. crown thickness should be .180"

well just looking at any other way ya know... woulda been nice to get era correct USA pistons in there... well I know a guy that is in india as we speak. If the quality wasn't bad i could get him to bring em back... Anyone know where in india the plant is located? This is not my year for Everest base camp.Looks like 2266 and mill the heads...That would be 69 1/2 spec six pack spec then. this is the lw2355 not l2355 I was trying to chase down.I could reuse stock .160 piston and 915 head gets 8.4?thermal detonator from star wars probably with .020 steel. also is there .015 avail?
Here's the India location: http://www.federalmogulgoetzeindia.net/web/patiala.htm
