Hey guys anny one hear have anny good tips on racing a old poly? I did one a few years back for my 1965 Coronet 4 door, bored .030 over with a 4.00 crank 390ci reground the stock cam TTI headers two 500 Edy carbs slightly ported heads with 3.91 gear and a set of 26" BFG drag radial ran 13.90 @100 with the tranny not shifting till you let off, and the carbs wer a mess, tuned er up now and lookin for 12s weight 3900 lbs I hear thay make new cams now? annyone hear the same? Im also lookin for a Weiand dual 4bbl intake for it, I already have the cast iron one. Anny tips or tricks would help.

I spy headers in that pic so that part is set for you. I really think with some tuneing and weight loss (3900 is very heavy)you can run mid 11s with little changes.
I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!
