Nick Mineau OP enthusiast N Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 350 CT USA	HI i have a 66 440 and im wondering what the diffrence is in a pre 68 lifter and post 68 lifter. some compianys offer 2 diffrent ones and some only ofer a general big block chrysler lifter. what would happen if you just used a "big block chrysler"lifter vs a "pre 68 lifter" thanks. info on the pushrods would also be appreciated.

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,041 Lincoln Nebraska	the early pushrods have a different dimention tapered bottom end and required corresponding lifters (the cup) to match. Just get the regular lifters and you only need later pushrods. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
