I've heard the 64/65 ss seats cores were a little different from the 68 ss seat cores.....I dont know if that's true or not.

Are you asking what is legal in NHRA SS class cars or period correct for restoring a Mopar SS car like the A990 Dodge and Plymouth 1965 cars or the 1968 Hurst Hemi Cuda nd Darts? NHRA class rules for SS are very liberal on which types brand front seat are allowed now, in the interest of Safety

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

THE PATTERN on 65 a990 seats are different from 68 seats, both seat frames are the same. i have heard that they came 2 ways either fold down or in a fixed position. mine are both fixed. here are some examples of true a990 seats.
