Is this a ball joint or torsions bar tool?? it is huge and weighs a ton. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see how it could be either.
If its large enough, could it be a king pin press?
I've worked on autos and large trucks for over 30 years, but I don't recall ever seeing one of those.

Upper ball joints screw in with a large 4 sided socket and lower bolt on...
Torsion bars are adjusted with a socket on the adjuster..

It's a ball joint press.
I have one of those also, but you have only pictured the main body of the tool.
There are numerous "drivers" and "sockets"
that are needed with that tool to get out different pressed in ball joints.
