Has anyone on here installed the Painless Mopar harness part #10127, and if so how do you like it? Thanks.

i think Devil did in his Challenger and was happy with it. I plan on that one for my Barracuda.

Yup, I did the 71 with that harness and it was really nice to use. Everything labeled and easy to read. BUT it is a universal Mopar harness, it isn't tailored to a certain Mopar, so I did have to make a few modifications. It wasn't a big deal because I had alot of other modifications to make since I had custom gauges and such.

But taking all the old connectors and transfering them to the new one was a bit time consuming as well, not including cleaning them and making sure they worked good.

It is really easy, one strand is for engine bay stuff, other is for gauges, etc.. and the last is for rear wiring and other interior items.

They are great kits but you still need so supply some wiring yourself so get a few reels of various colours.

Wires I found not included in the kit were;

Starter Relay to Starter Solenoid
Green wire from Regulator to Alternator field
Windscreen Washer wiring
Blower motor wiring
Neutral Safety Switch wire
Clock wiring
Emergency brake light wiring

2002 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7 LS1 2011 Alpha Romeo Giulietta Veloce 1.6 JTD Because running a Mopar in the UK is getting TOO expensive!!

I had one partially installed in my roadrunner. just didnt make sense to use all new wiring and then hack off old connectors. I just bought new oem harness's from year one with their 15% off code. Couldnt be happier about that decision

Makes sense for me to go painless. The only things really factory about my wiring harness is what the poster above listed had to stay factory. Everything is either relocated, aftermarket, or on relays. Buying a OEM harness would just require me to really hack it up.

I bought a kit from www.ezwiring.com . Well, their e-bay store actually. The wiring is top notch and doesn't scrimp in size 12ga coil wire anyone The starter wire is small (8ga) but I am putting the battery in the trunk, so that wire is going from the alternator to the starter relay-via a 120amp circuit breaker. There are circuits that need to be fabbed, in my case the sub harness that runs the wiper motor(your mileage may vary...) I sourced most of my other needs from www.terminalsupplyco.com. The cost is substantially less than the Painless kit, so check it out.
