I have only found places selling the more common black, white, etc... does anyone know who to contact to get the correct style and color?

Doesn't look like they can make them... so gotta keep looking.

The owner of this car (I believe he was the original owner) could not find the stripes either. He ended up having them painted on. He said they matched exactly to the original stripes. This is the shady side. The sunny side looked more yellowish.

I have never seen a set of original unfaded green stripes, but in my mind this is what is correct.

The car was for sale, so I don't know if the guy still owns it.

I messaged him on cuda-challenger seeing if he could help out or not. However I thought he mentioned getting them made, but maybe he meant painted. Really hoping I don't have to do that, but if needed I guess I could paint them on.

I used to work at a sign shop doing vinyl work so I know you can have virtually any color custom made. The only thing is you will have to have a bunch of it made up and it will probably cost you dearly.

I would go to a sign shop and see what they have for green colors in their color chip books. If you find something you like see if you can't buy a roll and send it to one of the graphics places and have them cut out the decal with your vinyl.

Yeah one place said they would have to order like 100 rolls to get it made and they didn't do it.

try phoenix graphics. my partner tom and i bought a 383 rt/se challenger with dark green hood and longitutal rt stripe . barry says his records indicate only 3 made . although there was a green on green 383 chall in illinois for sale with dark green stripes also so make that 4 so far. 1 hemi, 1 sixpack 2, 383 cars

This is a really old post! I did get custom material matched/printed and had challenger gary make them... and they are available from a couple places or were since I post this back then.

The car I had these made for was a sublime u code challenger... can't imagine too many were made this way if any others.

Performance Car Graphics offers this color as well.

Offering and actually having are two different things in the repro world...

My understanding is they print green ink over white vinyl and make it themselves in house.

I have a sample hunk of it and it looks good.

Good to know, Thanks for the heads up! all to often repro vendors say they offer something only to find they either had no interest in the item and never produced it, or it was a slow mover, no longer carry/make it, or they discontinued it without removing the item from their catalogs/web/etc
