94 caravan. on right hand turns it makes a clunking noise on the drivers side of the van. like a rotational noise. i am thinking the cv is toast but doesnt make the normal worn out cv noise, this is a metallic loud banging that goes on as long as its turning right that you can feel in the steering wheel. everything is in good shape underneath. recent tie rods+struts (3000miles) but he cv is original.

any thoughts other than dont turn right?

Check the wheel bearing. They will clunk like that when they start going bad.If you are lucky it will be the CV.Those bearings are a pain to replace.Rocky
