cupcake OP member C Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 155 calif	on a 8/34 if you take the drive shaft out the tran but leave it in the pinon turn it back & forth how much slop should there be.this thing hass about 5000 miles seams very sloppy i have a 5spd this things realy bangs around.its a sure grip power lock

stumpy I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 32,940 Grand Prairie,Texas	Should be .008-.010 pinion slack when you rotate it back and forth. It's best to check it without the driveshaft hooked to it.
