on a 8/34 if you take the drive shaft out the tran but leave it in the pinon turn it back & forth how much slop should there be.this thing hass about 5000 miles seams very sloppy i have a 5spd this things realy bangs around.its a sure grip power lock

Should be .008-.010 pinion slack when you rotate it back and forth. It's best to check it without the driveshaft hooked to it.

yes thanks is there a phone # for doc diff cant seem to find one seem to bee bout 1/2 inch it came from randys ring pinion whats the deal is it back lash?????
