We're starting the body work on my junk, and I can't find any patch panels for these cars. I was looking at Duster patches, but the wheel opening is angled back, not down. Have any of you guys run into this problem, and what did you do?

Thanks in advance for any help

Call one of the SW desert auto wreckers and have them ship you what you need. But I would check every source for new stuff first.

Thanks guys My friend can fabricate them if needed, but I thought I'd buy something new to save time. We can't work on this during the week, just weekends.

I don't like the mouldings any more. My friends do and say keep them. They're in perfect shape too, just faded. The doors and fenders I'm going to use are in great shape and don't have the holes in them. Easier to fill in the quarters than drill the doors and fenders, lol.

If you are only interested in the lower quarter section, be aware that the same basic Valiant body was also made as a 4-door from 1967-1973...not just 67-69.

This should help your scavenging if you go that route.

poor ol' Valiants always get the short end of the stick when it comes to repop stuff . At least what's out there as far as used is still relatively cheap . Always loved the "green brick" & yours looks just as cool ... good luck
