I'm in the process of swapping out the from drums on my 72 Duster to a disc setup from a 73 Duster. I'm staying with manual brakes but the 73 proportioning valve was for power brakes. Should I use the existing valve that was on the 72 for manual drums or swap it out to the 73 for power disc? I dont know if theres a different valve for power and manual is why I'm asking, I know the drum and disc is different, so I figured I'd use the one off the 73 with discs, is that correct? Thanks

I also picked up a new style master cylinder from Dr.Diff, that wont make a difference on what I should use, would it? If so I can always use the exsisting proportioning valve and install an adjustable inline valve for the rear?

The combination valve (what you need for disc/drum) does not know if there is a booster or not as it only senses pressure out of the MC, so PB and MB use the same valve.
